The feature launches tomorrow evening at the TCL Chinese Theaters in LA as the opening night movie of the Dances With Films festival.
Written and Directed by Chris Hartwell, Shum Jr leads cast with Rosaline Elbay (The Diplomat), Ronny Chieng (M3GAN) and Jimmy Gonzales (The Odyssey).
The film follows an exceptional home-health nurse whose world unravels after a simple mistake turns fatal. Consumed by his job as a home health nurse, Sam Yeong is burned out and frayed. When a simple mistake turns into a fatal error for one of his patients, Sam tries to bury the truth under a facade of perfection. The film touches on the pressures in American health care and those aided and victimized by that system.
